< Date: Sun, 26 Aug 2001 14:33:57 EDT >
Could you please inform everyone on your mailing list that Atlantic
Records/East West Records/ Warner Music has removed the false statements
made about me and my being fired from Mr Big from their website.
Thank you.

- Billy's statement
< Date: Fri, 24 Aug 2001 14:58:39 EDT >
Hi,
East West's/Atlantic Records statement is TOTALLY FALSE! It is ABSOLUTELY
UNTRUE that I "left" due to "creative differences". It is ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE
that any problem was caused by my solo album or any other activities. My solo
album was completed in JANUARY---many months before the Mr Big album even
began. East West/Atlantic Records has given out a totally false and a
complete misrepresentation of the facts. I was fired from Mr Big, and I have
the telephone answering message to prove it.
Please print this statement and send it out to everyone who received the
Atlantic Records press release.

Bassist Billy Sheehan Departs Mr. Big
Due to creative differences, Billy Sheehan has left the group Mr. Big.
Scheduling conflicts stemming from Sheehan's solo pursuits also contributed to conflicts surrounding the launch of their new album "Actual Size". He was a founding member of the band and its bass
player for 12 years.
Band members Eric Martin, Richie Kotzen and Pat Torpey will continue with the Mr. Big promotional efforts for "Actual Size", embarking on a much-anticipated promotional tour of Japan beginning this month.
The album's first single "Shine" has just entered Japan's Original Confidence International chart at #3. Future performance plans for the band, in light of Sheehan's departure, are under discussion.
